treediagrammaker.com is a small, focused tool: you type an indented outline, it draws a tidy tree — instantly, in your browser, with no account.
It exists because making a simple tree diagram had somehow become a chore. The big diagram suites put a signup form, a template picker, and a toolbar the size of a cockpit between you and a ten-node tree. We think the right interface for hierarchy is the one you already use for it every day: an indented list.
What it does
- Tree diagrams — org charts, taxonomies, breakdowns
- Decision trees — labeled branches, styled outcomes
- Probability trees — auto-multiplied paths, sum-to-1 checks
- Text trees — copy-paste ASCII output for READMEs and docs
How it's built
Everything runs client-side. Your outlines are stored in your own browser (localStorage) and in share links you create — we don't store your diagrams on a server. The free tier is the whole tool; a one-time Pro purchase (watermark-free and vector exports) is what keeps it free and ad-free for everyone else.
